Can HST-HGW Series Meet Strict ISO 9969 Requirements for Pipe Ring Stiffness Testing?

  HST Test GROUP has launched its HST-HGW series computer-controlled Pipe Ring Stiffness Testing Machine, a high-precision Testing device tailored for thermoplastic pipes and fully compliant with ISO 9969, the core international standard for ring stiffness determination of circular cross-section thermoplastic pipes. This equipment also supports ISO 5893, ASTM D638 and other mainstream testing standards, serving structured-wall pipes, PE corrugated pipes and helically wound pipes widely used in municipal drainage projects.

   

  The series includes five models with maximum loads ranging from 20 kN to 300 kN. Its load accuracy reaches ±0.5% with a load resolution of 1/500,000 FS, and the displacement resolution is up to 0.04 μm. The test speed can be adjusted from 0.001 mm/min to 1000 mm/min, fully satisfying the speed regulations of ISO 9969. The customizable pipe diameter range covers 110 mm to 3000 mm, adapting to most common plastic pipe specifications.


   Equipped with a three closed-loop control system and dedicated deformation measuring devices, the machine realizes accurate force, strain and displacement control. The supporting software features data storage, curve analysis and multi-language options, and can generate editable test reports in Excel and Word formats. With stable performance and comprehensive functions, it has become an ideal choice for pipe manufacturers and third-party laboratories to conduct ISO 9969 standard tests.
